Community Groups

Community Groups

We believe community is God’s provision for our flourishing. Community Groups at First Pres are at the heart of our life together. These places and spaces are where friendships take root and bonds are formed through shared stories and discussion. Whether you are new to First Pres, or have been here a while, and are seeking deeper connections, a great place to start is in a Community Group (CG).

Connecting with a Community Group

New Community Groups will be forming again in early September. Typically comprised of six to twelve adults, CGs meet on various days, times, and locations in the home of a group member or on the First Pres campus.

Community Group Resources

Our Community Groups team is excited to support and resource all of our Community Groups. Here are some ways we can help:

· Keep you informed of upcoming equipping events where we cover such topics as insights from upcoming sermon series upon which our discussions are based, honing facilitation skills, having difficult conversations, using our online CG Directory and more…

· Resource missional/service opportunities for your CG

· Connect your CG leaders with a CG Coach for support and encouragement

. Thinking of starting a Community Group or adding more members to your existing group? We can help with that too!
